Quick, Blurry and Poorly Posed

I'm dashing out the door to spend the day at Fibrefest but just had to show you this.

I finished the sewing up of the Lace Edged Denim Sweater this morning. It fits, it's comfy, and I love it.

Made of handspun 2 ply superwash merino (17 - 18 WPI).

Unfortunately it likely won't see much wear until next fall.

Oh wow, Marlene. It looks fantastic on you! It's lovely.

Can't wait to hear about Fibrefest!

Dandy, I got the pattern at my local yarn store. It is put out by "Twilleys of Stamford" and it meant to be used with "Freedom Cotton DK". It is called "Knitted Lace Border Top" and is Leaflet No. 9023. It was error free and needed no adjustments, although I might consider doing it a little longer in the future. It's not a bad length, just personal preference for a slightly longer top.

Oh so lovely! You'll never guess this...so I'll tell you. I am the happy owner of a new Lendrum wheel!!(bet you thought I'd given up the idea...grin) (If I still have your email addy I'll send you a quick one later) I'm finding I'm getting too much twist though..more later. I've got to practise my cello...there's a program next week and THEN I can relax...=). This is an easier group than the last one...but for me, still a way big challenge!

That's very very nice. And I hope you had a good time at Fibrefest. Things are going sideways for me right now and I just couldn't make it, although I wish I had.

Next year maybe ...

So what did you buy?
